Help for Completing Citations for Others
Complete a Supporting Statement for a Consultant
Users of the SCCLEA Online system may submit supporting statements for consultants eligible for awards. Users should click on "My Citations" and then click on "Supporting Statements" on the left menu. The "New Supporting Statement" button can be used to create a new Supporting Statement.
To find the consultant to support, users may restrict the search in a number of ways:
The consultant first name and last name may be specified. These may be entered fully or using wildcards if the exact spelling is not known. The % (percentage) character replaces any number of characters, whilst the _ (underscore) character replaces any single character, e.g., sm%, sm_th, s__th, %mith would all find consultants called "Smith".
The specialty, employing authority, and region dropdowns may be used to further refine the search.
If known, the GMC or GDC number may be entered, but this must be entered fully and correctly (i.e., no wildcards are allowed).
Complete an Assessor Citation
You may only complete assessor citations if you have been asked to do so. If you have been asked to complete an assessor citation you should click on "My Citations" and then choose the "Assessor Citations" menu option. You will see a list of any consultants for which you may enter assessments. Click on any and press the edit button to be able to edit the citation.
Completing an Employer Citation
You may complete employer citations but should only do this if you have been requested to do so by your Employing Authority. To complete an employer citation you should click on the "My Citations" and then choose the "Employer Citations" menu option. You will see a list of any consultants for which you may enter assessments. Click on the "New Employer Citation" button to create a citation.
