Submitting an Application
Eligible consultants within Scotland may apply for an award within the timescales notified in the "News" section of the SCCLEA Online system. Applications may be made by submitting a Curriculum Vitae (CV). For national awards, the consultant's application may be supported by the employing authority and/or a specialty body.
To edit your CV, click on "My Application" menu item. This will only be visible if your details are correctly in the system. Click on "My Draft CV" on the left menu to edit your CV.
The CV may be saved as a draft as often as required. The CV may be printed or saved as a PDF at any time. In order to apply for an award, the CV must be submitted by the deadline date as indicated in the "News" section. Once the CV has been submitted it, you may continue to edit the draft CV and re-submit it at any time up till the CV deadline.
As well as being submitted to SCCLEA, your CV will be visible to your Employing Authority Chief Executive, Chair, and Medical Director. Supporting Bodies will not automatically get access to your CV. You must ensure that you supply them with a copy of your CV.
Viewing the Status of your Application
Click on "My Application". The page will show whether the CV is submitted, and whether there are any supporting citations from Supporting Bodies or your Employing Authority.
