Authorising Employer Citations and Supporting Statements

Employing Authorities may submit Employer Citations and Supporting Statements for applicants applying for awards at Grades 11-13. Any member may create an Employer Citation or Supporting Statement but it must go through an authorisation process before it is accepted. Employer Citations and Supporting Statements are not possible or required for award Grades 1-10.  Supporting Statements will normally only be used to support an employee of another Employing Authority.

If you are responsible for authorising Supporting Statements, as the Chief Executive or Chair of an Employing Authority, you will be able to view and approve Employer Citations and Supporting Statements. Click on "Org. Citations". You will see a list of Employer Citations and Supporting Statements awaiting authorisation. Click on a citation. On entering the citation, you will be able to read and print the form. In order to approve or reject the citation you must press the "Edit" button. At the bottom of the form will be two buttons to allow you to choose the desired action.

You may view authorised citations by clicking on "Authorised" on the left menu.

You may view authorised Employer Citations grouped by the level of support given by clicking on "Employer Citation Support Levels" on the left menu.

You may view authorised Supporting Statements grouped by the level of support given by clicking on "Supporting Statement Support Levels" on the left menu.

Viewing Checklists

Designated Employing Authority personnel, including the Chief Executive, Chair and Medical Director, may view the CVs and Employer Citations of national award applicants by clicking on the "Checklists" menu item. Applications are listed with ticks showing which documents have been submitted. To view the documents associated with an application, click on the applicants name and then click on the relevant document (i.e., CV or Employer Citation).
